Named for a regional line of beers brewed in Orlando in the early 1900s, Steinerbru Schwarz is our take on a traditional German-style Schwarzbier. Built on a base of German-grown Pilsner malt, with touches of crystal and roasted malts for color and complexity, and noble hops for balance, this dark lager delivers depth without heaviness. Expect notes of toasted bread, cola, and subtle chocolate layered with delicate floral hop character. The finish is clean and crisp, making it surprisingly light and drinkable for a beer this rich in history.

Brewed to celebrate Lake Monroe and historic downtown Sanford this lager was designed to bring you something new, but familiar. We started with a foundation of heritage pilsner malt and added a hefty dose of pale wheat malt; both imported from Germany. German noble hops in the kettle, paired with a small dry hop with modern German hop varieties, give the beer a classic lager flavor, with an unexpected aroma of strawberry, melon, and lime.
