Brewlando reopens both Sanford Brewing Company locations under new ownership
Brewlando continues to expand across Central Florida with a new location in Sanford, and the brand plans to expand its menu of craft brews with an onsite innovation hub.
Central Florida’s brewery, Brewlando, has officially expanded its footprint with a new location in Sanford, and the brand has big plans for innovation in this. The soft opening is scheduled for Saturday, March 15th, 2025
In late 2024, Brewlando acquired the Sanford Brewery Company’s locations in Maitland and Sanford to keep the craft brewery scene alive after the announcement that both locations were to close. As of today, both locations have officially reopened under the Brewlando name to welcome back both craft beer lovers and Sanford Brewery Company employees in Maitland and Sanford. With the reopening of both locations, Brewlando has saved more than a dozen and created more than a dozen jobs.
“Brewlando has huge plans for 2025. The acquisition of the Sanford Brewing Company, including the retention of its employees, has helped make our growth and expansion possible,” said Shara Pathak, Brewlando's owner. “No matter which location they visit, guests can expect to enjoy more unique beverages and, of course, an amazing atmosphere.”
Thanks to the equipment onsite, the Sanford location will serve as the innovation hub for Brewlando, helping to drive the brand’s offerings into the future. A large, 15-barrel brewing system will allow Brewlando to produce larger quantities of its staple products, ensuring that the beverages never sit for longer than 30 days, which equates to fresh beers all the time. The location is also home to a smaller, 3-barrel system, so the Brewlando team can test more unique brews in small batches.
Brewlando’s newest offering, “Pearsecco,” will also be brewed in Sanford, and the brand plans to expand their cider offerings.
Sanford and Maitland will also serve delicious dishes to pair with guest’s favorite brews. The menu is full of elevated bar favorites like the Pimento Jalapeño Burger and Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese, plus shareable appetizers including Nachos and a Giant Pretzel.
Opened in 2022, Brewlando proudly offers over 20 in-house crafted beers, all with a uniquely local flair. The Winery & Tasting Room by Brewlando at ICON Park further extends its reach, featuring an impressive selection of over 60 carefully curated wines, a house-made “Pearsecco,” Brewlando's craft beer and small bites.
